What is KonCote?
KonCote is a unique re-surfacing product that can be applied to concrete, masonry & foam. It can also be applied to steel, stucco and aggregate surfaces. KonCote is so versatile, it can be used on horizontal and vertical surfaces!
KonCote is an architectural, chemical-concrete with more than two times the strength of standard concrete. KonCote is also fire and water- resistant.
What makes a KonCote vertical surface better than other stucco type products or EFIS type products?KonCote can be easily applied in a stucco like finish, but other synthetic stuccos are merely low strength, cosmetic coatings of only 500 PSI compressive strength versus KonCote’s 7,000 plus PSI compressive strength. As a result, other synthetic stuccos can easily be damaged or penetrated with sharp or blunt objects. By comparison, some KonCote surfaces are so strong and exclusively tough that they've even been used on road surfaces!
KonCote Surface Products come in a variety of textures and colors. Colors can be custom matched and are virtually unlimited. Here are a few examples below.
Our KonCote Surface Products offer considerable advantages over other products used to resurface building structures such as plaster, EIFS systems, or reduced strength, synthetic stuccos. Those products contain little, if any, Portland cement, and are primarily low-strength, non-sealed aesthetic coatings which provide less protection from weather erosion and other frequent surface abuses such as staining, chipping or cracking.
